The complete group together. Before arriving at Bussloo we had to give way to a lot of cows but when we finally arrived, the feast could start and the dogs (and owners) had a wonderful day under the beaming sun and in the cool water of the lake! Not only dogs went into the water. At a certain moment we noticed some divers in the lake. Some owners practiced now and then what they learned at the dogschool.

Lovely Kachina died

On April 8, 2011 Koraal's Boreas Kachina was mated to Kaneeli Red Canyon Clay
It should have been her first litter and the pups were due to be born on June 10, 2011.
Kachina's health status changed from very healthy and pregnant to very bad within half an hour. On the way to the vet she died in the car, together with her nine very heavy pups.
It was day 60 of her pregnancy. We will miss Kachina very much! She was one of our most beautiful females, with her beautiful pigmented fur and her nice character. Kachina was living at Kennel Kaneeli in Germany. We wish Heike and Joachim all the strenght in the world with this immense loss..

Training Samoyeds
There are people who believe that you can't teach a Samoyed anything. Because of that they even don't start training their dog because they think what's the use? What a pity! A Samoyed is just a dog like all other dogs. You can teach him everything you want and perhaps even a bit more for it's a very intelligent dog. Yes, sometimes training a Samoyed will take you a little more effort than training another breed but finally you will be rewarded with very good results. 30% of the behaviour of a dog is fixed in the genes but the other 70% of the behaviour is created by human beings and its invironment. So it's up to you when you want to live with a well behaving Samoyed dog in every respect!

Aurora opens doors both ways. Her granddaughter Dvina opened doors at the age of 6 months, just by looking at her grandmother.

Laying down for several minutes belongs to the physical training of dogs.

Sometimes it looks easy for a dog to lay down. But when you click on the picture below, you can see that this exercise was not as easy as perhaps you thought it was. A group of people was training right in front of them.They were running to and from the dogs again and again and made very peculiar movements wilst the dogs had to lay down without any movement. An unknown dog spontaneously joined our dogs.

Koraal's Crystal Iduna 1st again !!! December, 2010

We are very proud to tell that last week Iduna again became first of group of the course Obedience and Behaviour for beginners. She is doing very well, of course also thanks to her motivated owners. We are convinced that her little sister Felice (Koraal's Dynamic Felice) will do her utmost to equal Iduna in future.

Muka December 1, 2010 Yesterday, our male Muka came back to our kennel. He felt at home again immediately and was warmly welcomed by his family. Lucky for him there is snow at the moment so he started running and playing with his mother, half-sister and little niece straight away. In January he went to his new owners and we hope they will give him the love and care every dog needs.

			Perhaps some people will miss Sunshine in the pictures. Sunshine is trained as a social assistence dog at the moment, and therefore she is not at home during the day. She is doing very well!

Reunion of the Dynamic pups on September 19, 2010

On September 19, 2010, we had a long walk with all the owners and pups of our last litter. Also some mature dogs from previous litters were present. The weather was nice and we had a wonderful day. The dogs, all running without a leash, had a lot of fun and stayed close with us very well. It really was a nice pack!

When we were at Kennel Kaneeli's on March 30, 2010 for the mating of Sunshine, of course we met two of the Samoyeds bred by us, Marouk and Kachina. Although male and female, they both look a lot like their mother respectively grandmother Aurora.

The geese (three females) layed a lot of eggs and the dogs are watching over the eggs as if the eggs were their own. A goose egg is four times as big as a chicken egg. I put some chcken eggs between the goose eggs to show the difference in size

a nice tree-stump in the woods...	suddenly the samoyeds passed by...	they jumped on the tree-stump	they layed down...

Sunshine had to sit...	they both think it's their duty to keep the area under control...	they looked at the right, they looked at the left...	they looked everywhere!!!

but whoever passed by, they kept their post on the tree-stump		running and having fun in de woods
